As someone who is interested in improving the lives of children, you and an associate are cordially invited to become part of the Uniting Los Angeles for Effective Parenting Project, and to attend the project's Effective Parenting Council Meeting and Luncheon. There is no cost and parking is free.

The Uniting Los Angeles for Effective Parenting Project is co-led by the National Effective Parenting Initiative (NEPI) and the Center for the Improvement of Child Caring (CICC). It has 30 Partners, including elected officials, heads of community agencies and foundations and corporations.

As you will learn from the Partner News, which indicates most of the Partners, the Project is designed to make it possible for every parent in Los Angeles County to receive the best possible parenting education and support. Click Here to read Partner News.

AGENDA

The agenda for this second meeting of the Council of Project Partners will once again include brief presentations by parenting and project authorities, discussions and decision-making, and footage of project events. It promises to be lively, fun and very productive. You will have an opportunity to share what you, your school, agency or organization is doing to educate and train parents.

This meeting should provide everyone with a fine appreciation of the progress that is being made as we move into the second year of this pioneering undertaking to make effective parenting and parenting education priorities in Los Angeles County.
