Teaching Social Skills to Improve Student Engagement, Achievement and Behavior
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A Two-Hour Webinar with Dr. Howard Knoff
Creator and Director of Project Achieve and
The Stop and Think Social Skills Training Programs
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thursday, Sept. 3, 3-5 P.M. ET

Dear Colleagues:

   As parents and educators, you probably don't need to be reminded of the critical role that good social skills play in students' academic success in school and beyond.

   Students who lack social skills such as cooperation, self-control, being a good listener and knowing how to ask for help, are more likely to have problems in their interactions with teachers and peers and to disrupt the classroom.

   But, how can you make a difference with your own students?  I just learned that my friend and colleague, Dr. Howard Knoff, will be presenting a 2-hour webinar on this very subject September 3.

   Howie will discuss how to select and implement a school-wide and classroom-focused social skills program that can help children develop critical interpersonal, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills in a developmentally sensitive and appropriate way.

   Over the years I've worked closely with Howie on a number of projects and I can assure you he is well worth the registration price for this special on-line event.  The great advantage of webinars is that you don't have to travel and you can invite friends and colleagues to listen with you at no extra charge.
